Brief
The brief was to create a logo and 3 bottle packaging designs for a new brewery in Berlin, called the Berlin brewery. The products are aimed at the contemporary youth culture in Berlin, yet still still embrace the high quality standards of German beer.
Concept
The concept was to use a combination of hand drawn typography, print making and collage. This came from exploring Kreuzberg in Berlin while on an organised trip as this is an exciting area full of contemporary art, colour and great beer.
Solution
The solution came from lots of experimentation with spray paints, college and layouts. The subtle changes in typography reflect the characteristics of beer. The labels are also backed on sticker back paper so that the consumer can stick the labels all over the city creating a following around the brand.
